Our design team will create a design concept based on the client’s initial input, including mood boards, sketches, and color palettes to capture the overall look & feel of the home or space. This stage involves creating a detailed floor plan that outlines the layout of the furniture & fixed finishes to optimize the functionality and flow of the space, while also ensuring that we’ve captured the optimum placement for light fixtures, lighting controls, and electrical outlets. Clients will meet with our design team biweekly (every two weeks) during this stage at Nova’s design studio.

- Material Selection: Our design team will select all materials (fixtures, tiles, countertops, etc.) and present options during biweekly meetings, keeping the budget and project scope in mind. Client feedback helps finalize the design plan, which will be presented with 2D/3D renderings,
drawings, and material samples. All selections will be completed by the framing stage to avoid delays or budget impacts.

- Lighting Design: We create customized lighting plans to enhance ambiance, functionality, and aesthetics. Collaborating with the electrician, we ensure fixture placement, controls, and outlets align with the furniture layout for optimal efficiency.

- Furniture & Furnishings: Everything from furniture, rugs, and decor we will help select so that they complement the design. Leave it to our design team to propose and order furniture & accessories, track orders, schedule deliveries, and do the onsite day of coordination when the home is completed

Once the design plan & all materials are approved by our client, our design team will oversee the implementation of the project, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and artisans to bring the design to life. This stage will require a number of site visits throughout the construction process. Meetings will be coordinated by either the project manager or our design team and will include the necessary contractors for that particular meeting. Clients are encouraged to attend a handful of these meetings which will be scheduled accordingly.

The finishing touches, such as styling, accessorizing, and adding decorative elements, are applied by our design team to complete the look and make the space feel personalized and cohesive. Our design team will schedule the furniture delivery & installation once the home is completed and all furniture & furnishings have arrived and are ready to be placed inside the home.
